First Install

This guide will walk you through the first-time installation and basic setup of the CatzFly plugin. Following these steps will ensure the plugin and its dependencies are installed correctly.

Make sure that all of your plugins and server software are up to date!

Step #1 - Dependencies and Plugin Files

First, you need to install the plugin itself along with its required dependencies.

• Stop your server completely.

• Download the dependency if you want to use Economy section:

  • Vault

  • Economy plugin like Essentials

• Place the downloaded dependency JAR files (Vault.jar, PlaceholderAPI.jar) into your server's /plugins/ folder.

• Place the CatzFly.jar file into your server's /plugins/ folder.

• Start your server. This will generate all the necessary configuration files inside the /plugins/CatzFly/ directory.

Step #2 - Get License and Activate

As long as you own the servers, you may use your license key on multiple servers. Unauthorized distribution of plugin JAR files or license keys may result in the termination of the license.

To activate the plugin, you need to obtain and insert your unique license key.

• Join our official Discord server to receive support and your license key.

• Open a ticket and send your BuiltByBit profile link (or proof of purchase) to request your key.

• You will receive a license key via DM from our License Bot.

• Stop the server again.

• Open the newly generated /plugins/CatzFly/config.yml file.

• Place the license key you received into the

  license-key: "" field.

• Start the server. The plugin should now be fully activated.

Step #3 - What's Next?

Congratulations! CatzFly is now installed and running on your server.

• We highly recommend reviewing the config.yml file first.

• After that, you are ready to explore the other configuration files to customize messages, flight items, particle effects, and the powerful event filter system.
